Terms & Conditions

By joining our Cellar Club, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined herein.

 

Age Requirement: Membership is open only to individuals who are of the legal drinking age of 21 years old.

 

Membership Benefits: As a member of our Cellar Club, you will receive exclusive benefits, including discounts on wine purchases, access to special events, and curated wine selections.

 

Payment: Club fees will be billed on the 16th of every month.

 

Privacy Assurance for Cellar Club Members: Your privacy matters to us. As a member of Complex Cellar Club, we want you to know that we value and respect your privacy. We will not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your trust is important to us, and we are committed to protecting your information and maintaining the confidentiality of your data.

 

Pauses and Cancellation: Members may pause or cancel their membership at any time by providing an email notice sent on or before the 10th day of the month. Cancellations must be provided in writing to complexcellar@gmail.com  

 

Wine Selection: Complex Cellar Club reserves the right to select and curate wines offered to club members each month. Final selections are at the discretion of the Complex Club Sommelier.

 

Pickup and Delivery: Members are responsible for arranging the pickup of wines within the specified timeframe. Delivery options, if available, may be subject to additional fees.

 

Exchange Policy: We facilitate exchanges exclusively for wines prior to pick up. Once wines are picked up, no exchanges will be accepted. Each month, a select menu of wines will be provided for exchanges, ensuring equal value and quality.

 

Changes to Terms: Complex Cellar Club reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any changes in advance.

 

Compliance with Laws: Members are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the purchase, possession, and consumption of alcohol.

Flawed wine policy - We allow wine to be returned only if the wine is defective within 7 days of the purchase date. Refunds will be issued as store credit or exchange.  Due to California state law, we cannot issue cash returns for wine. All returns must be accompanied with a receipt, and bottle with over 75% of the wine intact.

 

Cellar Club Non-Pickup Restocking Policy:

 

Non-Pickup: In the event a Cellar Club member does not pick up their wine allocation within 30 days of the release date, the following policy will apply.

 

Notification: The Cellar Club member will be notified via email regarding their non-pickup status. The member will have the option to:

 

  • Arrange for a later pickup date within an agreed to time period, subject to availability and any applicable storage fees.

 

  • Opt for delivery of the wines to a specified address, delivery fees applied in addition to any storage fees.

 

  • Forfeit the unclaimed wines and be issued a refund, minus any applicable restocking fees.

 

 

Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee, based on the monthly membership fee, will be applied to cover handling and storage costs associated with the unclaimed wines. The restocking fee amount will be communicated to the member upon notification of non-pickup and processing of a refund.

 

Grace Period: A grace period may be provided to allow members additional time to claim their wines, subject to availability and the discretion of Complex Cellar Club. During the grace period, the member may incur additional storage fees.

 

Communication: It is the responsibility of the member to maintain up-to-date contact information with the Cellar Club to ensure receipt of notifications regarding specials, pickup deadlines and non-pickup status.

 

Exceptions: Exceptions to this restocking policy may be granted on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Complex Cellar Club Sommelier, depending on circumstances such as emergencies or unforeseen events.

 

Policy Acceptance: By participating in the Cellar Club, members acknowledge and accept the terms of this non-pickup restocking policy.
