NEW FIND: Pelletiere Estate

We have a new find that we are really excited to share with you, Pelletiere Estate! Pelletiere is owned by Janis Denner and her wines are brilliantly made by a woman winemaker.

Before we get started, we have to send a huge thank you to John and Sandy for introducing us to such a great winery. Thank you!

Pelletiere is nestled back in the Willow Creek district of Paso Robles. Not only is it a beautiful drive to get there, but the Winery itself is as beautiful as it is tranquil. 100% of Pelletiere’s Estate wines are sourced from its very own sustainably-farmed vineyards and focuses on Italian varietals.

They have a great selection to include a few unusual varietals like Lagrein, Aglianico, and Montepulciano; however, for now anyway, we brought back two to share… Sangiovese and Syrah.

We can’t hail enough about how fantastic they are, so come on in and try them out.

They will be by the glass for only a limited time.

Estate Sangiovese - Thoroughly intriguing and complex, with hints of lavender, pungent rose, and cactus flower reveal waves of interesting floral aromas that are balanced against organic and savory suggestions of forest floor, cedar, and leather. Notably bold, powerful, and extracted on the palate while remaining incredibly elegant and tastefully rustic. Incredible summer red!

Estate Syrah - aromas of black cherry, pomegranate, gingerbread, and impressions of fresh earth. A gorgeous fruit profile and supple tannins combined with bright acidity blanket the palate resulting in an unforgettable finish of blackberry, fig, and just a touch of toasted caramel.
